Darrell Tabbert Obituary

Darrell E. Tabbert, 79, of Windsor, Illinois passed away at 12:03 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born on December 25, 1941, in Effingham, the son of Elmer and Virginia (Wood) Tabbert. Darrell married Sharon Vaughn on October 25, 1961. They were blessed with four children: Bill, Devin, Mike and Denise Tabbert.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his children: Bill, Devin and Denise; grandchildren: Shannon Niebrugge (Adam), Ashley Voris (Phillip Rogers), Mike Painter, Jacob (Shalyn) Tabbert and Isaac Tabbert; great-grandchildren: Jordan and Bailey Voris, Anthony Niebrugge, Blakely Tabbert, Caiden and Cortlyn Gerrond; sisters: Judy Syfert, Dawn Tabbert and Greta Hinton.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Virginia Tabbert; his son, Mike Tabbert and grandson-in-law, Jeremy Voris.

Private family services will be held. Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting the family.
