Faye I. Grove

Faye I. Grove, 90, of Effingham, passed away at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Effingham Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Faye was born May 30, 1927, in Shelby County, the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Blue) Grove. She was a member of the Washington United Methodist Church in Stewardson. Faye enjoyed life, loved children, coloring, playing the piano, singing and watching tv shows.

Faye is survived by special niece, Lynn (Jerry) Kessler of Effingham and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Clarence and Dorothy; two brothers: Aubrey Grove and Elza Grove and sister, Alice Thomas.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson. Visitation will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson. Burial will take place at Stewardson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
