Gary Edward Buzzard

Gary Edward Buzzard, 47, of Beecher City, IL, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

Gary was surrounded by the caring staff of Doctors Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem, IL, where they lovingly knew him as “Buzzy”.  Gary’s family will be forever grateful to the dedicated nurses and staff of DNRC for their tireless care and affection always given to Gary.

Gary was born March 14, 1973, in Effingham, IL.  He was the son of Ronnie and Sherry Buzzard of Beecher City.

Gary is survived by his father, Ronnie Buzzard; sisters:  Lynnette (Jim) Anderson, Shelley (Jack) Bowlin, and Brooke (Jared) Schlanser and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Buzzard and nephew, Michael Anderson. 

Private family services will be held at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City with Pastor Nick Robertson officiating.  Burial will take place in Bob Doane Cemetery in rural Beecher City.  Memorials may be made in Gary’s name to Kaskaskia Church and mailed to Lockart-Green Funeral Home, %Gary Buzzard, 302 W. Main St., Shelbyville, IL 62565.  Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City is assisting the family.
