Jesse Franklin Gill

Jesse Franklin Gill, 57, of Shelbyville, IL passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Jesse was born May 4, 1961, in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Roy and Ida Laverne (Smith) Gill. He was a graduate of Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1979. He enjoyed his weekly games of shuffleboard at the Shelby County Senior Center and adored his feline companions.

Jesse is survived by his father, Roy of Shelbyville; brother, Mike of Shelbyville; nephew, Joseph Gill of Shelbyville; niece, Darla (Philip) Zelenak of Wheaton, CO; uncle, Donald (Shirley) Smith of Fancher; aunt, Faye (Jim) Tull of Shelbyville and four great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Laverne Gill.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Burial will take place in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in rural Shelbyville. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Memorials may be made to the Shelby County Senior Center.
