Linda Louise (West) Fox

Linda Louise Fox, 75, of Windsor, IL passed away at 4:50 p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022, in Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.  

Linda was born on March 20, 1946, in Decatur, the daughter of Raymond and Juanita (Hartman) West.  She was a 1964 graduate of Windsor High School.  Linda married the love of her life, Larry I. Fox on October 30, 1966 and they were blessed with 33 wonderful years of marriage before his passing on July 1, 2000.  Linda was a homemaker, beautician, worked at the grocery store in Windsor for many years and eventually retired from Hydro-Gear in Sullivan.  She was a longtime member of the Windsor Christian Church.  Linda enjoyed camping, traveling and time spent with her family and her furry canine companions.  

Surviving are her children:  Wayne Allen Fox of Windsor, Artie Irvin (Kara) Fox of Fayetteville, NC, Darrell Lynn Fox of Windsor and Ginger Denise Fox of Windsor; granddaughter, Olivia Fox of Mattoon; grandson, Travis Fox of Windsor; sister, Judy Smith of Windsor; brother, Bill West of Windsor; companion, Dean Spear of Windsor and several nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and infant son, Randy Lee Fox. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, in Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor with Pastor Patrick Fahey officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will take place in Zoar Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, N County Rd 150 E in rural Mattoon.  Memorials may be made to Saving Orphaned Animals in Shelby County and mailed to 207 N. Oak, Windsor, IL 61957.  Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting the family.
