Linda Lou (Cope) Robson

Linda Lou Robson, 77, of Effingham, Illinois, formerly of Cowden, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, in Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham with loved ones by her side. 

Linda was born on December 28, 1945, in Springfield, the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (Harrell) Cope.  She touched many lives through the years working as a home health care provider.  Linda was a faithful member of the Cowden Free Methodist Church.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting, flower gardening and time shared with loved ones. 

Surviving are her three children:  Tina (Brian) Rupp of Arvada, Colorado, Noel (Sherry Bahde) of Cowden and Joseph “JR” (Angie) Robson of Neoga; ten grandchildren:  Sarah (Erik) Ferguson, Rachel (Anthony) Wood, Matthew Rupp, all of Arvada, Colorado, David Robson, Adam Robson, both of Bluff City, Austin (Antonia Green) Robson of Vandalia, Shannon Robson, Emily Robson, Colton Robson and Cassie Robson, all of Effingham; five great-grandchildren:  Brandon Ferguson, Emery Ferguson, Genesis Green, Tobias Green and Oliver Theo Rensner.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Graveside services will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023, in Buckeye Prairie Cemetery in Christian County.  A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2023, in the Cowden Free Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Neville officiating.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cowden Free Methodist Church.  Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Cowden is assisting the family.
