Marilyn Ann (Kier) Wright

Marilyn Ann Wright, 73, of Farmington, MO, formerly of Findlay, IL, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, in Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. 

Marilyn was born on September 17, 1948, in Caney, KS, the daughter of Clem and Wilma (Lloyd) Kier.  Marilyn and Glen Wayne Wright were married on July 9, 1966, in Shelbyville, and were blessed with 51 years of marriage and five children before his passing on October 30, 2017. Marilyn was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Surviving are four children:  Dale (Lori) Wright of Beaufort, MO, Michelle Medley of Rolla, MO, Sherri (Donnie) Dodson of Blytheville, AR and Amanda Brooks of Blue Springs, MO; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and sister, Mary Krohn of Bethany.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son and one brother. 

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville followed by burial in Findlay Cemetery.  Lockart-Green Funeral Home is assisting the family.
