Mary Lou (Walker) Mullikin

Mary Lou Mullikin, 85, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away peacefully at 9:29 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022. 

Mary was born on November 25, 1936, in Macedonia, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Bessie (Edwards) Walker.  She worked as a secretary for SIU Edwardsville, McDonnell Douglas and Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals in the St. Louis area for many years.  Mary mostly enjoyed reading and watching all sports on tv.

She is survived by her two sons:  Michael Mullikin of Pocono Lake, Pennsylvania and Mark (Rosie) Mullikin of Edwardsville, Illinois; three grandchildren and two great-granddaughters:  Joshua (Lauren) Mullikin and their daughters, Clara and June, Lauren (Logan) Hickey and Nolan (Mirissa Corbin) Mullikin.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ramonia Fry, and one brother, Arthur Walker.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022, in Windsor Cemetery, 1553 Illinois 32, Windsor, Illinois 61957.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary’s name to the charity of your choice or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and mailed to Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, 207 N. Oak, Windsor, Illinois 61957.  Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting the family.
