Nancy Ellen Brooks

Nancy Ellen Brooks, 54, of Nokomis, IL passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Nancy was born October 6, 1964, in Hillsboro, IL, the daughter of Everett Brooks and Marjorie (Miller) Stokes.

She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Stokes of Nokomis; stepmother, Patty Brooks of Nokomis; children: Natasha (Eric) Eskra of Witt, Niccole Trusty of Witt, J.R. Whennen of Decatur, Andrea (Jeremy) Rogers of Decatur and Janis Boeck of Ramsey; ten grandchildren; sister, Christine (John) Hood of Mechanicsburg; brother, Tom Brooks of Nokomis; three nephews and three nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother Russell Brooks.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Burial will take place in Rockford Cemetery in Clarksburg. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the family.
