Rebecca Jane Sanborn, 97, of Shelbyville, IL passed away at 7:53 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in the Shelbyville Manor with her daughter, Alicia, by her side.

Jane was born on May 17, 1923, in Sigel, the daughter of Henry and Anna Bartimus. She married Elmer Lloyd Sanborn on June 21, 1941 and they had four children: David, Patsy, Donald and Alicia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Anna Bartimus; husband, Elmer Lloyd Sanborn; sons: David and Donald; siblings: James, Bunny, Ruth, Mary, Agnes, Edith and May.

Private services will be held in Glenwood Cemetery. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville is assisting the family.

Grandma to some and Grandma Jane to others, will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
